NEWS ON THE REGENERATION PROPOSALS INVOLVING OUR SLOPES:
Knowle West Regeneration Framework - update

In July 2011 the Council said that they hope to complete the Knowle West Regeneration plan the end of 2011 - it seems now that this will take a little longer, but may be tied into other consultations on Council initatives.

In October 2010 there was a consultation on which option - 2, 3, 4 or 5 - should be taken forward. The Knowle West Residents Planning Group (KWRPG) option 2 was the most supported and has been developed further. The draft summary report of the consultation is available on:

http://www.bristol.gov.uk/item/committeecontent/?ref=ne&code=ne010&year=2010&month=12&day=07&hour=18&minute=00

The boards which were on display in October 2010 are available on http://www.urbaninitiatives.co.uk/kw/

The Framework approximately covers the area between Wingfield and Marksbury Roads in the North to Airport Road in the South; and Hartcliffe Way in the west to Salcombe Road in the East.

Further information, will appear here - or go to the City Council's website:
http://www.bristol.gov.uk/page/knowle-west-regeneration-framework

or go to the Knowle West Community Website - www.knowlewest.co.uk and search on Regeneration.
